Misses Potatoe was on a HOLIDAY RUN!!!! back from all the shopping was so busy but didn't forget you guys!!luv you all misses you too!!

So to follow up you guys on the sales!!!! Christmas is just a day or two away!! and I'm all done with shopping.....They have crazy sales in Macy's!!! My Boy friend is also Chubby and he is in the Big and Tall category so I got a 4x tee from Sean John and it was cost at 32$ lowered from 21$ name brand rung it up at the register and it came out to 10.06$ that right there is a SALE!!! so tell ya mans or family if they are big and tall.....

Now back to us Chubbets!!! Christmas is coming and I suggest to all my chubbets to wear something comfy on Christmas day and warm.....I think misses potatoe feels like wearing the Plaid Red and black shirt I'm wearing a few blogs ago(Picture BELOW shown in BLOG)........with a pair of leggings and my rain boots maybe.....I will be wearing the Black dress and boats I talked about also a few BLOGS ago....(picture is below).

Hey all my Chubbets!!!

Sorry you haven't heard from me since Monday it's because I have a very bad cold :( sniff sniff cough cough......

To get back on track with out Sheek Plus size clothing for a good price!!! I know the mall near coop city in the Bronx has alot of nice plus size clothing there....I have not gotten a chance to go over there and give a good review but the last time I went they had alot of plus size clothing that looked great and were reasonable with the price.....
Once I get a chance to get over to coop city I will advise all my chubbets the info about there stores....Rainbows has alot of clothing for 5$ on the sale rack......and conway always has low cost clothing but rem to always buy according to what you already have to make your wardrobe work for weeks or months.....2 big events coming Christmas and New years and you all know we have to lock our looks in early so when that day comes you are on time and trendy!! :)

Monday BLUES is the New Monday Purple!!!

Hey All my faithful Chubbets!!!

It's Monday and yes every one is grumpy today!! lol especially Misses Potatoe Day JOB lol.......Monday Blues are turning into Monday Purple!!
Purple is a color that I know for sure that fall with embrace and love.....If you haven't noticed purple is looking great when you go out to an event or to a casual party.......I was told that the color purple signifies peace and harmony.

New Years & Christmas Looks :)

Hi Again all my Chubbets,

Being I missed out Blogging yesterday I will post two New Blogs to make up for yesterday!

They do have nice clothing, all those trends they have at rainbows for atleast half price and no shipping fee. I know I seem to always mention Rainbows but it is my absolute favorite. Sometimes if you check the site they will have sales making the garments priced at the original price it should be
The second site is http://greatglam.com/ They have alot of favorites but some are ok....Me personally like shirts that are tight on top and loose at the belly so it makes an illustion of your figure...no its not to trick men but to atleast a confidence booster...personally i feel better when tops or dresses are empire waisted or cropped right under the breast and loose at the belly I have a picture of a dress I picked up from Rainbows for 17.99....No shipping fee and its black this is what i will be wearing for New years eve to ring in the new year and all I spent was 17.99 but will look like i spent atleast 50$ or 60$ and it comes with an necklace accessory so I don't have to spend money getting a necklace. All I have to do is pair it with leggings and wear my boots 29.99 from Rainbows...Now look Rainbows is a good store and offers alot of clothing that us woman now adays can afford...with the economy the way it is we have to look good atleast and why not at a good price!!! follow me on this blog and I will lead all my chubbets to happiness! we all deserve it! Catching up from yesterday!

Hey all my Chubbets!!!

So sorry for not updating the blog yesterday super busy with work...& knocked out when i got home but I do have some tips for yesterday and today to make up!....oxoxox

Yesterday I wore to work the boots I brought from DSW since they said it was going to rain....As a big girl we know those classic boots are hard to put on being that some of us have a chubby caff and sometimes its hard to put them on....My sister Stephanie Andujar (aka Rita from Precious)
gave me a pair of Rain boots from Rainbow last year they were very cute but since my caff is so big it was hard to put on so now that I got these new DSW boots I don't have that problem & very trendy rain poof snow proof :)...Not to say I'm not greatful for her gift i certain am!! lol....MuahZZZ oxox -Misses Potatoe :)

Freezing today!!

Hey all my Chubbets, Thanks for following the blog....just because this is a plus size blog its great for every one. Friends family every one :)

Today is about 26 degrees so I have little misses potatoe tip....If you want to wear leggings I suggest you wear 2 pairs in this cold weather so you are protected from the cold.

The top two stores that I suggest are great at looking fashionable and trendy for low price is RAINBOWS & CONWAY. The other alternative I have is Burlington Coat factory...they have plus size clothing but i would only go there if its a real formal even and need a gown or something really fancy.

To update from yesterday I tried on the 10.99$ Multi color plaid shirt i picked up from CONWAY and it fits great!! I paired it with 3.99 dark grey leggings I brought form Conway yesterday. I have on my black boots i brought at RAINBOWS a few weeks back for 29.99 they look extra trendy....I took a picture of me today in the shirt i brought....Every loves the shirt already and it has this extra detail at the cuff...I love simply garments with an little detail that can make your look extra trendy and unique :)

Hey all my Chubbets....

Today on my Lunch break I went across the street the the conway on 35th street and grabbed a few 3.99 tank tops.....Which I love to wear under any nice shirt or blouse....as a trick try to get a size smaller than you usually are so then you put it on it can hold some loose belly jelly and make you look slimmer when you put your actual shirt or blouse on.

This is my trick so i shared it with you all......also I picked up a 10.99$ Plaid dress shirt to wear this week......Plaid for winter never goes out of style....I think the bolder color plaid you get will make you pop out in any group you are with this winter!!!

I will post the look of the plaid shirt later hopefully it fits LOL will mix well with my current wardrobe :)

Old Navy Plus Size internet Review

Hi all my chubbets :)

I was just thinking back to the other day I was looking over the Old Navy Site and I had visit the store also a few weeks back, realized that they no longer sell plus size clothing.....I was kind of sadden cause i use to like going to old navy and excited to buy something from there. Now its like we have to go online and guess that it will look good when you receive it. The only thing I brought off of the website was a pair of (29.99+shipping handling) wedges and it did look completely different. I give One misses potatoe down :(

Also I remember I was looking for a coat not so heavy but just right that if I layer it up I will be warm for the cold days....being a plus size myself i looked on oldnavy site and noted a coat that is Gray (attached photo it was on sale this passed black friday 2010 for 49.99 but now went back up...when it should be reduce cause of the qaulity)...when i was taking the train to work I noticed a girl wearing that very same coat and it looked thin and a chambrey fabric when in the picture it looked like wool....its a shame on the site it looked so beautiful....My advise its best to go to the store....as a big girl myself i feel much better and in love with a garment when im there in front of it...think of it as if its online dating when you look at the guy or girl you think ummm looks good and when you meet them they do no look like there pics either they are bigger or smaller than you thought or have a blemish or two lol.....its the same exact thing for when you shop for clothing.....I always make sure i love a garment before walking out! :)

Always remember that you never have to have on real jewelry to make the look...Always remember its not the value its the look!

Jackets for Fall always make the look, so if you think your look may look BLAH grab either a cardigan that is long in length or a light Blazer you can even scrunch up the sleeves to give it an fashionable edge.

My favorite rainbow has alot of sales going on and at the same time give us plus size girls a varity of trends so we can look great for a big girl :)

Sale at DSW Boots for Winter

Hey all my Chubbets :)~

I purchased a pair of DSW Trendy Duck Boots. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!!!! they are originally 80$ but with the sale they are having got them for 60$.
They are completely water proof & look very trendy to wear for Snow Days......
I have worn mine atleast 4 times and they are comfortable and trendy.
I bought the Grey and light grey boots but they do have them in Black with a floral print or a plaid mutli color print.

Lets make a 40$ Budget work!!!

Here is a great way to save so much money! This is a lesson from Misses Potatoe savings guide. This is my personal experience:

I have two things to look good for 1.)Work:Meeting 2.)Wendy Williams Show Nov.8th show:

Budget of 40$ shopping for clothing.

First place I went to was Fordham Rd. BX Rainbows. Looked over the sale rack and they had a 5$ each for tops/shirts/leggings.

I brought a 5$ 3x black scoop neck shirt tunic, a 5$ 3x sheer chiffon Turquoise ruffle & a 3x grey sweater camisole & 3x spendex leggins 5$. Went to check out and only spent only a Total:20$.

Most people wont admit this but I will and I'm proud of it I went to Conway clothing store where I found 2.99$ Black Boy short panties 1.99 silk panties a 3.99 purple tank top. Total:8.97 + NY Tax= sum of like 9-10$ making an average of 10$ left from the 40$ I started with. 10$ to spend on a snack or whatever... that right there is a great way to save at the same time look good for less.

Just to summarize the shopping choices: 1.) I can always wear the Grey camisole over the Black tunic or wear it with the Turquoise. Whenever bargin shopping you always make sure you by clothing that you know fit your other daily styles. So that look can be transition to your ever day looks. :)
2.) The panties are purchase at a cheap price and they look trendy. Always rem it doesn't matter where you shop as long as style's have great colors and always pick out a look that you are in love & fits your look before you purchase it.

Melanie Andujar here...wanted to update everyone on what stores you can find trendy Clothing for good prices and very trendy. My personal favorite store is RainBows they always have something nice and trendy for a chubby female. They have sizes 1x-3x.

There website is limiting but i recommend you take a trip to a Rainbow close to you and see in person if it fits your style.
